2004 Diamond Creek Volcanic Hill
Varietal(s): Cabernet Sauvignon
Aromas of cola, vanilla, mocha, bittersweet-chocolate and anise seed are followed by flavors of ripe black cherry, cassis, coffee, chocolate, mocha and coconut. Seamless and round in mid-palate with a rich and silky finish, very well balanced.
Review 89 points Wine Spectator: “Tightly wound, smooth, rich and complex. Dusty berry, anise, sage and mineral flavors are joined by a touch of mint and rich currant. Well structured, with firm, ripe tannins. Best from 2009 through 2020.” (10/07) and 94 points Wine Enthusist.
