Château de Berne, Côtes de Provence, France

Provence is the magical place in southern France. It’s the home of this delightful wine, with fetching strawberry and raspberry aromas and flavors from grenache and spicy cherry flavor from cinsault. It is light and lacy in the mouth, with lively acidity. Enjoy it as an aperitif or with chicken salad.

Château de Berne is a 300-year-old estate that is now a four-star Relais & Châteaux hotel, with a restaurant in addition to the winery. In 2009, it was acquired by Mark Dixon, a British businessman, who renovated the nearly 1,500-acre estate.
