2014 Torres Vina Sol White, Catalunya, Spain paired with Mediterranean pasta salad
Made from Parellada and Garnacha Blanca. Brilliant, pale yellow. The wine offers fresh floral aromas of orange blossom with strong fruit undertones of apple and banana with an intriguing exotic note of lychee. Light and silky on the palate with delicate acidity and wonderful length.
2014 Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Tempranillo, Ribera Del Duero, Spain paired with ham croquettes
Bright violet color. Spicy dark berries on the nose, with a suave floral quality building in the glass. Round and seamless in texture, offering sweet black and blue fruit flavors and a touch of smokiness. Shows more red fruit character on the finish, with silky tannins. Rated 90 pts V
2010 Flegenheimer Bros. Red Blend, McLaren Vale, Australia paired with steakhouse deviled eggs
A blend of Shiraz and Petite Sirah. Very deep purple-black color with notes of creme de cassis, warm plums and dark chocolate with hints of licorice and fertile loam, the 2010 Reserve Red Wine is very full-bodied and voluptuous in the mouth, offering tons of ripe fruit layers that are supported by a medium to full level of grainy tannins and refreshing acid. 2012 Susana Balbo Signature Malbec, Valle de Uco, Mendoza paired with pasta with house-made meat sauce
A classy and classic Malbec blend from the innovative and trailblazing Susana Balbo. Mixed berries, plums and cassis fruit aromas also show hints of wood smoke, vanilla, and cola spice, all of which lead to a well-balanced palate of blackberries and dark plums.
