2013 Force of Nature Pinot Gris, Santa Barbara County, California
Delicate yet flavorful, this Pinot Gris has a light golden color and a complex, fruit-scented nose that reveals layers of mango, jasmine tea, cinnamon, and cantaloupe. Smooth, smokey toasted walnut and honey balance the fruits, and give way to a crisp, lingering finish full of freshly cut grass and peaches.
2011 Styring, Signature, Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Our Ribbon Ridge AVA is uniquely suited to grow some of the finest Pinot Noir in the world. We then carefully crop the fruit, a time-honored tradition, to yield Pinot Noir of exceptional quality. After careful fermentation, gentle handling, and up to two years in French Oak barrels, this wine is a rich with characteristic structure – blackberry and black cherry fruit up front and soft, full tannins on the finish. ~winemakers notes
2012 Force of Nature, Zinfandel, Paso Robles, California
Opens with a striking bouquet of wild strawberries and orange blossom intermixed with marionberry pancakes drizzled with melted chocolate. The palate presents a meaty, savory entry with crisp tannins and racy acidity. It displays superb structure towards the finish where one finds notes of rhubarb, elderflower and sage.
2011 Tooth and Nail ‘The Stand’ Petite Sirah – Syrah blend, Paso Robles, California
80% Petite Sirah and 20% Syrah
This mostly Petite Sirah has a bit of Syrah added and has concentrated aromas of wild game, strawberry jam, brambly berries, cigar paper and mossy earth. The palate shows big, chewy flavors of ripe boysenberry, wild strawberry, olive tempenade, dried herbs, smoked meats and tobacco leaf with a big, bold finish.
