2014 Pali Wine Co. ‘Charm Acres’ Chardonnay, Sonoma County, CA.
Paired with House made clam Chowder
Bright golden straw color with brilliant clarity. The Charm Acres is the perfect choice for those who prefer a Chardonnay that is minimally oaked, with light, bright and lively flavors. The nose abounds with aromas of honeysuckle, wet gravel, Creme Brulee, baked apricots and lemon peel. On the palate you discover fresh stone fruits like peaches and apricots swirling together with limestone and sea salt, all bound together by refreshing acidity and just a hint of toasted oak. ~Winemakers Notes

This wine is bright cranberry in color and light in body. The nose is filled with butterscotch, followed by subtle aromas of cherry, cranberry and forest floor. True to the Oregon style, with hints of tea, tart apple, and earthy notes on the palate with a soft finish. ~Winemakers Notes

Paired with Apple smoked ham and gruyere cheese sandwich
Dark ruby color, aromatic nose and balanced, pretty composition. An explosion of black cherry, boysenberry and blueberries meet the nose, followed by floral notes. On the palate, there are dark berries, currant, and pink peppercorn. The finish is long, with lingering earthy notes. ~Winemakers Notes
